If you want to use ozone air purifiers in areas when people are present, then you need to be able to control the ozone output as well as the length of time ozone is produced. Both the PT109A and the PT101-2K offer these needed controls.

They both can be ran continuously, have variable ozone output (up to 1300 mg per hour) and several fan speeds. This allows either unit to operate at their highest settings to provide a shock treatment when needed in unoccupied areas, or at lower settings when people or pets are present.
The PT109A has a timer that can be selected to run from 5 to 60 minutes before it shuts off.
The PT101-2K is equipped with a microprocessor, which allows it to cycle on and off as desired. For instance 20 minutes on, 30 minutes off, 20 minutes on 30 minutes off, etc. 24-7.

Please Remember: All Ozone Generators, regardless of manufacturer, are an electronic appliance containing electrical parts and connections. Your generator will become damaged, your warrantee voided, and the ozone output lessened if immersed in water or operated when humidity (moisture in the air) is above 60%.
